In a recent survey (n=733) we found that casual sports fans are the sports fan most likely to bet on sports. The general good news is that the audience we reached through our predictions game outperforms the general public (45% in interested in sports betting vs. just 30% according to AGA). What surprised us was the fact that amongst the different fan types (avid, casual, barely) the casual fan stood out as the most likely bettor at 55%.
We consider this as another indicator that casual fans do not only provide the key to scale fanbase and monetization opportunities, and that they deserve as least as much attention as the more avid fans. [RH: insert stat here that shows how well Tally is suited to do that]
